Sicily is a great place
to visit if you are interested in travel
photography and finding great landscape,
scenery, sunsets, sea views, natural
wonders and interesting and photogenic
people.
Sicily, in the very southof Italy
is a place which is slightly off of
the tourist track compared to the likes
of Rome, Florence and the Amalfi Coast
and this makes Sicily an even more
attractive and unusual location for
travel photography.
One of the most interesting and dynamic
places to take travel photos and to
take up travel
photography is the Etna Volcano. The
Etna volcano is an active volcano which
has erupted three of the last four
years. The eruptions make for some
amazing photos whilst the views from
the top of the Etna, looking down at
the ocean and coast on a clear day.
Another excellent location for travel
photos and photography in Sicily, Italy
is from the stunning town of Taormina.
Taormina sits on top of a hill and
boasts a Roman theatre which offers
a wonderful distant view of the Etna
volcano, in addition to sea views and
lots of Italian cultural views.
Another place which is excellent for
travel photography is the fish market
in Catania. The fish market in the
city centre of Catania, near to the
backpackers youth hostel, is as Italian
and Sicilian as you will see.
