Lonely Plantet Sicily (by Paula Hardy)
 I
personally love the Lonely Planet series of
books, having found them to be quite accurate
and uptodate in the past. The Sicily travel
book is very good and gives a decent write-up
of the Sicilian islands. I would recommend this
book if travelling to Sicily. You can buy this
book from most high street book shops or from
Amazon online.
The latest edition of this travel book on Sicily
came out in May 2005 and the ISBN-10 number
is: 1740596846
 Another
excellent series o ftravel books is the Eyewtness
series and the Sicily is good. The book has
some excellent information on the history and
places to go and see etc, and it is one of the
best travel books for illustrations and diagrams.
If you want
more direct and backpack style info then the
Lonely Planet book is what I'd buy. If you are
more interested in the history and illustrated
information then this travel book might be even
better.

an eyewitness book, the series op 'Top 10' can
be excellent in my view. This Top 10 Sicily
travel book is great and provides a clear and
easy to follow information on the top 10 things
in Sicily, for many different things.
Find the top
10 beaches, restaurants, festivals and so on.
This is fairly cheap and is a good travel book
on Sicily.
